Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 3 to 12 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after we have received payment in full. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
We use 3rd Party Couriers. They can take 1 - 4 business days to deliver. *Please note this can increase during peak times (Festive seasons). We charge a flat fee for all shipments in South Africa
Free local delivery (10 Km radius from our Studio in Villieria, Pretoria) is available for orders over R2500 upon special request (T's & C's apply). For orders under R2500, we charge for delivery directly to your door. Alternative shipping methods eg 'Postnet to Postnet' can be arranged upon request.
We cannot be held responsible if the couriers attempt to make contact and no one responds or if no one is at the delivery address to accept the parcel and the parcel is returned or is not delivered in time.
If, after the couriers make a few attempts to deliver and no one receives the order, the parcel will be returned to us, we will require payment of the shipping amount to re-send your parcel. Refunds can be done excluding the shipping amount paid.
In-studio pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at Purple Root Studio in Villieria, Pretoria. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 3 to 12 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 08:00 - 16:30 (Mo-Thu) and 08:00 - 13:00 (Fri). Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come to collect. Please always arrange a pick up time slot via email or WhatsApp.

How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@purplerootstudio.co.za with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@purplerootstudio.co.za with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We do not accept any returns after 5 days. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
Unfortunately, some items are non-cancelable and non-refundable: Anything that’s made to your specific requirements, is personalised or otherwise can't be resold due to a bespoke element. We do not accept returns for any personalised item, if there is an issue with a product, we can investigate to find an alternative solution or we will give store credit where applicable, minus the shipping costs for the return.
Please note that the return shipping costs will be at your expense, unless the item/s being returned are defected or not as ordered. In rare cases like this, We will gladly cover the postage costs for the return (via EFT or coupon). Please contact us to make arrangements.
The returned product/s will have to be in an un-used condition and in its original packaging in order for us to proceed with a refund.

Definition of personal information
According to the Act ‘‘personal information’’ means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person, and where it is applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person. Further to the POPI Act, COR Concepts also includes the following items as personal information:
- All addresses including residential, postal and email addresses.
- Change of name – for which we require copies of the marriage certificate or official change of name document issued by the state department.
